Browse Art Shop

This is my painting of Nelson Mandela (47 x 38 in.) on the Change The World mural at Gray Avenue Middle School in Yuba City, California.

Nelson Mandela was a worldwide symbol of dignity, perseverance, and equality for all. He was a revolutionary, politician, and philanthropist who helped abolish apartheid in South Africa. He gained international acclaim for his activism and received more than 260 honors, including the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize and the U.S. Presidential Medal of Freedom. Mandela is held in deep respect within South Africa, often being described as "the father of the nation."
