This illustrated version of ‘Che: A Revolutionary Life’ highlights pivotal moments in Guevara’s rebellious journey – depicting a young medical student who relinquishes the security of his privileged life to pursue the dangers of armed resistance.
‘Che’ is a beautiful book that is limited by its uneven pacing and a choppy story structure, but the amazing artwork itself makes this edition a great companion to Anderson’s excellent, non-graphic biography of the same name.
*This graphic adaptation of ’Che: A Revolutionary Life’ – illustrated by award-winning Mexican cartoonist José Hernández – was first released as three separate volumes in México between 2015-2017.
